Order and Delivery Information

Delivery Information.

We provide safe and prompt delivery and 99% of our orders within 7-14 working Days.   We know how disappointing it is when you place an online order only to find out that your item is out of stock.  We value your time and aim to exceed your expectations regarding delivery, and with your needs in mind we show the status of stock levels on each product within our online boutique.  If in exceptional circumstances a human error occurs and your item is not in stock and your delivery has been delayed, we will contact you within 2 business days of placing your order.  At this time we will advise you of the estimated delivery date and discuss your options with you.

Damaged Items

We use professional Furniture Removalists accredited with AFRA to ensure the safe and secure delivery of your items. All items are carefully checked and signed off prior to leaving our warehouse.  If in the unusual situation an item is damaged in transit we will repair or replace your item. Any faults or damages must be lodged with House of Collections in writing within 2 days of delivery, accompanied by digital photos.  Any goods signed for in good order and condition on delivery will not be considered for claim (as the opening to claim freight damage has been voided).  The customer reserves the right to unwrap the goods before signing, and reject delivery for freight damaged goods (ie. instruct carrier to reload goods and return to House of Collections). Claims will not be considered where the claim relates to the inherent nature of the product. Claims will not be considered where the goods have been refinished / upholstered by others.  Claims will not be accepted where the purchaser has chosen to place the items in storage / delivered to the premises of a third party.

We offer two types of delivery depending on your circumstances: 

Silver Service Delivery

We provide Silver Service Delivery options for those our clients who require placement of their piece or an unwrapping or assembly service. We use professional Furniture Removalist’s accredited with AFRA to ensure the safe and secure delivery of your items.   Our team will deliver your item, place your items where required, unwrap and assemble and remove the packaging from your premises.

Please note however:

We are not insured to move or handle your existing furniture so please prepare the space where you would like our team to place your new piece.

If your piece requires hanging or attachment to a wall, whilst we are happy to assemble and unpack your piece, you will need to employ the services of a handy man (or grab your tool kit, a fabulous partner, neighbour or friend) as we are unable to provide this additional service.

Silver service is required if your property access is difficult for a removalist truck to enter such as sloping sites, stairs etc.  We would love to hear from you if you have any questions, please email us at info@houseofcollections.com.au

Standard Delivery:

This option is best suited to those of our clients who have ordered items that they are comfortable placing in situ themselves and who have the resources available to discard the packaging.  This service offers delivery to your front door and ground floor delivery only.

Important Points regarding Delivery Day.

Our team will keep you updated regarding the delivery of your item/s.  The driver will contact you directly to organise a suitable day and estimated time of arrival.  Once this time is agreed upon by both parties, it is confirmed and any alterations or if you (or an assigned contact person) is not at the premises at the agreed date and time and the driver cannot deliver your order, then unfortunately we will need to issue you with a futile delivery charge and an alternative time and day will need to be organised.  We work very hard to ensure that this does not occur and we ask that you notify us 24 hours prior to the agreed delivery time if you are unable to attend as agreed.  Failing to do so will result in futile delivery charge.

All items must be paid for in full upon ordering and with cleared funds prior to Dispatch

Orders via website are preferred but will be accepted by email to info@houseofcollections.com.au
